Specifically, after the Project on Adjusting the General Planning of Construction of Van Phong Economic Zone to 2040, with a Vision to 2050, and the subdivision plans in the Economic Zone are approved, the Management Board of Van Phong Economic Zone will participate. The province promulgates a list of inviting strategic investors to enter the economic zone.

In case the investor submits an application for an airport or seaport project with a capital scale of VND 2,300 billion or more, the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board will receive the dossier and advise the province in accordance with regulations.

In order to have a basis for considering and approving investment policies for airport construction and business projects, Khanh Hoa province has sent a written report to the Ministry of Transport on the airport planning in the project to adjust the Regulations. general plan to build Van Phong economic zone.
