The conference of Aeronautical Information Management 2021 (AIM) has been hosted online by the International Federation of Aeronautical Information Management Associations (IFAIMA) on May 25 and 26, 2021.
According to the plan, the Conference is expected to be held directly in Warsaw, Poland for 3 days (May 25-27, 2021). However, due to the complicated developments of the COVID-19 epidemic on a global scale, IFAIMA cooperated with ICAO and EUROCONTROL to organize an online conference, bringing the opportunity for 646 people to register to attend. 112 countries in the world.

This is an Annual Conference to share the experience of switching from Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) to AIM on a global scale. The theme of the Conference is “AIS continues its digital transformation journey”.
During the 2 days of the Conference, the speakers shared new changes in regulations and standards in the field of AIS/AIM issued by ICAO and EUROCONTROL.
In addition, because the transition from AIS to AIM is a transition from individual products, paper or telegram form to digital products (D-AIM), the Conference also focused on discussing digital dataset standards, integrated digital aeronautical information delivery, D-AIM moving towards Digital Air Traffic Management (Digital ATM).
Besides, as a product that is exploited, used frequently, and popular worldwide, the NOTAM data quality issues, the replacement of NOTAM has a long validity period, and the nationwide NOTAM reform campaign. On request, SNOWTAM in the new format applied from November 4, 2021 was also discussed.
Other contents of AIM training; safety monitoring and AIM regulation; The sharing from consulting service providers, system providers also attracted many visitors, asked questions and exchanged questions.

In that journey, Vietnam is also honored to be the host country of the 2015 Global AIM Conference held at the headquarters of Vietnam Flight Management Corporation.
